On International Girl Child Day, Pauri’s daughter has taken charge as the ambassador of New Zealand, illuminating the name of the region, and country. Kumkum Pant took over as Ambassador at an event held at the Delhi New Zealand Embassy.
Kumkum churned on similar problems in New Zealand, India, Uttarakhand and Pauri and worked towards a solution. Kumkum, who returned to Pauri, was accorded a grand welcome on Monday after serving as a one-day ambassador to New Zealand.
Kumkum Rajmati Devi is a Class XII student at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Timli. He is also the Home Minister in the State Children’s Assembly Uttarakhand. Plan India and Sri Bhuvaneshwari Mahila Ashram have been organizing International Girl Child Day at different levels for the last seven years.
On this year’s International Girl’s Day, 11 October, Pauri’s daughter Kumkum Pant was made a day ambassador to New Zealand. During this time Kumkum churned on similar problems of New Zealand, India, Uttarakhand, and Pauri.
Principal Sanjay Mamgain said that the family and the school family are proud of this achievement of the daughter. Teacher and Kumkum’s father Vipin Pant said that the change in attitude towards daughters in the country and society and the encouragement of daughter has made them proud. Manager Parmanand Chaturvedi, Sanjay Kala, Pradeep Bahuguna, Asha Rawat, Priyanka Negi, Mohan, Nikhilesh, Vipul, Darshan, and Sanjay, etc. were present on the occasion.
