Dehradun police’s mega quarantine plan ready, nine thousand rooms identified

The number of corona patients has been steadily increasing since migrants began to move. In such a situation, the Mega Quarantine Plan has been prepared by the Doon Police. Nine thousand rooms have been identified in hotels and Dharamshala across the district.

If necessary, 15 thousand people will be institutionalized quarantine. This plan has been prepared especially for the migrants.

On Wednesday, the Nainital High Court has ordered institutional quarantine for all migrants from the Red Zone. Following the order of the High Court, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has instructed the police and administration to prepare for this by video conferencing.

While DIG Arun Mohan Joshi had given instructions in the station in-charge meeting two days ago that he should identify Dharamshalas and hostels. So that they can be acquired if needed.

According to police sources, around 9000 rooms of Thanewar hotels, and Dharamshalas have been identified.
