Dehradun Literature Festival will be held for youth, many sessions, writing, and storytelling will also be focused on

There will be a discussion on how the young generation lost in mobile can befriend the books again at the Dehradun Literature Festival. Several sessions will be organized to return the youth to literature and books. It will also focus on other issues including storytelling and writing. It will be a three-day event from October 11 to 13 at the Doon International School Riverside Campus. It will include many famous personalities from literature and cinema.
Chief guest Padmabhushan Ruskin Bond will interact with school children in the session to be held after the opening of the festival on 11 October. On the second day at 10 in the morning, educationist Devyani Mungli will discuss sessions of children’s poems in a magical box of poems. The Indian Sherlock session will be held from 11 am in which Deepika Moorthy (Pika Nani) will discuss espionage stories and themes. Soon after, a new round of education sessions will be held, in which Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will communicate about the changes in education. This will be a very useful session for children as well as their parents.
After this, three 10 to 15-year-olds writers, Soham Singh, Tathagata Anand, and Aastha Mehndiratta will discuss Ratna Manucha with writing and literature. In the next session, Neelima Singh, who received the National Award, will talk about children’s literature and creative writing. Aarti Muthana Singh and Mamta Naini will then conduct a story-telling cum workshop, churning out other children’s literature including the book A Dozen and a Half.
There will be many sessions on the last day too
There will be several sessions for children on Sunday 13 October on the last day of the festival. Himajali Sarkar will discuss her children’s literature books in a super dog session.
Devika Rangachari will join Sonal R Bindra in the Talking About the Past workshop for children. Aarti Muthana Singh and Mamta Naini will do a workshop on their series of books, Gully Rap, Football, and Samosaj. She will participate in the workshop on the theme of success for children.
