Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has directed the complete closure of the municipal corporation area for two days every week (on Saturday and Sunday) in view of increasing cases of Covid-19 in Dehradun. From this week, he has asked for the closure order to be effective. The city will be sanitized on Saturday and Sunday on both captive days. However, shops of essential items will remain open during these two days.

In a video conference held with district magistrates on Thursday to prevent Covid-19, the Chief Minister took information from the District Magistrate regarding the status of infection in Dehradun.

More than 250 corona infected patients have been found in the capital. The Chief Minister said that in view of the infection, every Saturday and Sunday, two days Dehradun will be completely closed and sanitized. Shops and business institutions will remain closed on both days. Only shops of essential commodities will open. Orders have been issued in this regard. This arrangement will continue until the next order.

Niranjanpur mandi will remain closed, alternative arrangements will be made
In the meeting, the Chief Minister was informed that a large number of infected people are being found in the Niranjanpur vegetable market. He said that in view of the situation in Dehradun, Niranjanpur vegetable market should be closed with immediate effect. Alternative arrangements should be made for this. Officials should ensure that there will be arrangements to keep the supply of fruits and vegetables smooth. At the same time, as soon as the order of the District Magistrate, the Mandi Council has also started evacuating the mandi.

Send black marketers to jail
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has given strict instructions to stop black marketing of ration in the meeting. He said that black marketing of ration should not be done under any circumstances. Those who do this should be sent to jail. He said that it has come to his knowledge that recommendations regarding ration are coming. No matter how big a person recommends about rationing, it should not be listened to.

It is a clear instruction that black marketing is to be stopped. Only information should come to them that black marketing has been done inside. The ration should reach every needy. The central government has made a system that supply of ration is regular, it has to be regularized and black marketing of any kind is stopped.

323 corona infected so far in Doon
Coronavirus cases are continuously increasing in Uttarakhand. So far, 323 corona infected cases have been reported in Dehradun. There have been 35 infected cases in Dehradun on Thursday as well. At the same time, due to continuous cases, now there is a danger of joining the red zone on Doon.
