Police officer-in-charge of Tuni did not act on the complaint, then victim reached SSP office
The mischievous elements of a surviving farmer of Tuni of Vikasnagar in Dehradun went viral on social media by creating fake death certificates. On this, the SSP instructed the cyber cell to go to the bottom and take action against the culprit.
In Dehradun district, Bhagmal Sharma, a resident of Saiz Tanranu of Tuni tehsil, cultivates and nurtures the family. Mischievous elements prepared and issued his fake death certificate. The death certificate is being reported for the year 2014. After that the mischievous elements made him viral on social media on 28 September 2019.
When an acquaintance showed the death certificate on his mobile, farmer Bhagmal came to know of the forgery. The concerned department that issued the certificate was then contacted, but he was unaware of it.
On this, the victim gave a complaint letter to the station in-charge of Tuni on 17 October. But, the Tuni police did not take any action in two months. This angered farmer met SSP and expressed grief.
The issue of issuing a death certificate to someone while alive is very serious. The cyber cell has been asked to find out who is certifying the certificate. After the accused is caught, it will be clear from where the death certificate was issued. Strict action will be taken against those involved in this entire game.
