Whether a patient has coronavirus or not, it will now be known in just half an hour. This will be possible with the help of Rapid Antigen Test Kit. The Directorate General of Health has provided two thousand kits to the District Health Department.
With the arrival of the Rapid Antigen Test Kit, Health Department officials and experts have also breathed a sigh of relief. Earlier, a rapid antibody test was done to check the corona infected patients to find out if the patient has a corona infection.
Medical experts treating patients in the rapid antibody test had to wait. Chief Medical Officer Dr. BC Ramola said that at present, this problem has been solved. Two thousand antigen test kits have been provided to the district by the Health Directorate.
Out of these, 100 antigen test kits have been sent to Army Hospital. Because there is a large number of incidents of corona getting infected in army personnel. Apart from this, the remaining kits are being provided to other hospitals including Doon Hospital.
Chief Medical Officer Dr. BC Ramola said that every possible step has been taken by the Health Department to ensure timely treatment of corona infected patients. Constitute teams of departmental officers are being closely monitored in all the areas where more corona infected patients are found. By the way, most patients of Corona have been found in the Dehradun district. But the relief is that most of these patients are recovering fast.
Register every person on the check post
Every person and tourist coming from other states to Dehradun district should be registered in every situation in view of the possibility of rainy accidents along with Corona. Special vigil should be taken at places like Asharodi, Raiwala, Rishikesh, etc. District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Kumar Srivastava issued these instructions to the officials in the meeting held at the district office.
The DM said that there is a need to increase the vigil on check-posts at every entrance of the district. It is necessary to check and register the people including the tourists who come here. So that corona cannot enter the district.
The Deputy District Magistrate has issued instructions to carry out special operations for checking tourists from outside Mussoorie. During this period, instructions have been given to take action under the disaster management act against tourists who do not wear masks, along with social distancing, sanitizers. ADM administration Arvind Pandey, SDM Mussoorie Premlal, CO Mussoorie Narendra Pant, etc. were present in the meeting.
Strolling on the tourist spots during the rainy season
The DM instructed to prevent unnecessary strolling of tourists by conducting special campaigns at tourist places such as Guchupani, Sahastradhara, Maldevata, Shikhar Fall, etc. during the rainy season. Said that there is a sudden increase in water flow at these places in the rainy season, for which one needs to be cautious.
