Cloning the ATM card, blown up Rs. 35, 500 from the account

A case has been registered for withdrawing 35,500 rupees from a student’s account at the ATM located at Shimla Bypass. The Chamoli Police has transferred the lawsuit filed in Patel Nagar Kotwali. It is feared that the amount has been withdrawn from the account by cloning the ATM card.

Chamoli police had registered a case of withdrawing Rs 35,500 from Monika Rana’s SBI account of Kothiyal resident of Chamoli. It was found in the investigation that this amount was extracted several times from an ATM located in Shimla Bypass of Dehradun. On the basis of the victim’s Tahrir, Chamoli Police has filed a zero FIR and transferred the complaint to Patel Nagar Kotwali. Patel Nagar inspector Suryabhushan Negi said that the investigation has been handed over to Sub Inspector Jagat Singh. The victim says that the ATM card is with her. Apart from this, she has not shared the password or OTP information with anyone. In such a situation, the fear of cloning the ATM card cannot be ruled out. The CCTV footage of ATM is expected to give some input. After this further investigation will be done.
