Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Friday directed to start a course on film education by establishing the School of Cinematic Studies at Doon University. During this time, the Chief Minister also released the portal for online permission to shoot the film. For the film education course, Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat directed that a working group of experts should be nominated for the film industry and film education experienced in it. After studying courses conducted by renowned national and international level educational institutions, the course is designed. In the coming times, the film industry should be inclusive of diverse dimensions of curriculum and cinema to suit the demands of the industry.
He said that undergraduate degrees and certificate and diploma courses of logistic production can also be offered.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also launched the portal for online permission to shoot the film. He said that there is no shortage of talent in the state, there is a need to work in the direction of how to highlight the talent of youth. There are immense employment opportunities in the field of film. The scenic beauty of Uttarakhand is also favorable for film shooting. In the field of film, it is necessary to provide a good environment for the youth in the state. Film education will provide information about various aspects of the film world.
