The Uttarakhand government has decided to conduct Chardham Yatra within the state itself, but no person nearby will be able to visit Chardham. For this, it will be mandatory to register on the Devasthanam Board website and get an e-pass. Darshan will be allowed only after this.
People from all over the state can visit Chardham from July 1. They have to get an online pass before going on a trip. An e-pass will be issued after registering in the Devasthanam Board at https://badrinath-kedarnath.gov.in.

In registration, the person will be required to self-verify and upload the date of commencement of the journey, address of residence, photo ID. Photo ID uploaded along with e-pass will have to be kept during the journey.

82 devotees visited Baba Kedar
Amid the lockdown, 82 devotees have reached Kedarnath since June 12. The devotees saw Baba from the temple premises itself. The Chardham Yatra is not operating this year due to corona infection.
Even though the local government was allowed to operate the yatra on June 8 last. Passes have been made mandatory for pilgrims. So far 82 devotees have visited Baba Kedar on the basis of the pass issued from the tehsil administration, which includes 70 men, 9 women, and three children.
