CBSE Exam 2020

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the dates of 10th and 12th board examinations postponed due to the corona epidemic. However, Uttarakhand will have only 12th exams. Also, no changes will be made in the examination centers. However, the physical distance will be taken care of in all the centers.

CBSE regional director Ranbir Singh said that the postponed board examinations would be held from July 1 to 15. Examinations will be conducted at the centers following the advisory of the Health Department. All examinations will be between 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. He said that the evaluation of previous examinations has started. The board exams were postponed in March by the CBSE due to the lockdown and the rising outbreak of Corona.

By then, the main exams of class 10 had been completed in the state. After this, in the second phase of lockdown, CBSE announced that there will be no exams of class 10. Only the remaining core subjects’ examinations of the 12th will be held. These are the subjects through which admission is ensured at the undergraduate level. On Monday, Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank released a notice on his Twitter handle announcing the exam date.

Parents and students were worried

Since the examinations were postponed, parents and students were constantly questioning this on the board’s website. Last week, CBSE issued a notification to conduct the remaining board exams in July.
