Bus passengers traveling from Dehradun to Delhi will now have to travel 63 km more. At the same time, they will have to pay an additional amount of up to Rs 65 to the current rent. Transport corporation management has changed the route of buses going to Delhi in view of Kannwad yatra.
Now buses going to Delhi are going via Ponta Sahib, Yamunanagar, Jagadhri, Karnal instead of Haridwar, Roorkee, Muzaffarnagar, and Meerut. Along with this, the route of the buses going to Agra has been changed.
Agra-bound buses are being sent to Agra via Bhagwanpur, Puhana, Jhabreda, Deoband, Muzaffarnagar, Meerapura, Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr and Khurja. JK Sharma, Deputy General Manager, Transport Corporation, said that the operation of Roorkee has been kept in place from Doon.
