Airport director SK Singh said that the contracted air service provider, Heritage Aviation, has made available the schedule for starting Heli service from Sahastradhara to Gauchar and Chinyalisaur from 8 February.

Sahastradhara Helipad of Dehradun will be flown to both places. Two flights will operate daily under the UDAAN scheme. A six-seater double engine helicopter of Heritage Aviation Pvt Ltd will be operated for Heli service.
Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat will launch Sahastradhara-Gauchar-Sahastradhara and Sahastradhara-Chinyalisaur-Sahastradhara Heli service under UDAAN scheme from Sahastradhara helipad. Captain Deep Srivastava, the Chief Minister’s Aviation Advisor, said that with the efforts of the Chief Minister, this service is being launched under the UDAAN scheme of the Central Government. Heli service will run two trips daily.
