Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand scheme show positive effect with 2232 patients’ treatment


The most advantage taker of the Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand scheme is the people going through surgery which is followed by the number of people who have dialysis. Not only this, patients are getting treatment from free ICU facility to cardiovascular diseases and cancer.
President of Atal Ayushman Uttarakhand Scheme, DK Kotia, learned about the progress of the scheme on Friday. Officials presented all the details before him. According to the details, under the scheme, 2232 patients have undergone treatment in various hospitals in and outside the state.
The highest number of people gone through surgery were 950 people. While 885 patients got free dialysis. During treatment, 34 patients were admitted to ICU and 56 patients received treatment related to cardiovascular diseases.
Apart from this, 118 patients have received cardiovascular disease treatment, 53 patients have urinary problems and 96 patients have cancer treatment. Similarly, 260 beneficiaries have received eye-treatment and 80 of them have received treatment related to female and obesity.
Kotia described it as a good initiative and said that the scheme is important for the statesmen and people’s welfare. He also directed the authorities to make quick payments to the hospitals. It was reported that so far claims of more than two crores 12 lakh have been received, with respect to which 508 claims have been paid 49 lakh 84 thousand.
Among the hospitals in which the patients have been treated, in addition to the state government hospitals, AIIMS New Delhi, Safdarjung Hospital, PGI Chandigarh and Ambala, Bareilly, Moradabad, Shimla etc. are included in the hospital list.
