Atal Academy will open in Uttarakhand…will be teachers’ training: Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank

Atal Academy will open soon in Uttarakhand. This was announced by the Union Human Resource Development Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank during the program organized at Graphic Era Hill University on Sunday. He also launched three websites of AICTE for students, teachers and colleges on the occasion.

Union Minister Dr. Nishank informed that the Atal Academy of AICTE is being opened in 15 states across the country. In this, the AICTE Training and Learning Academy (Atal) will also be opened in Uttarakhand. For this, after talking to the Minister of Higher Education, five acres of land has been sought from the state government. Dr. Nishank inaugurated three websites of AICTE. In this, a website will provide e-content for the students. 16 companies are offering e-content on this website. 25 percent reservation has been made for poor students, who will be able to read free e-content.

The second website is a certificate course for teachers. It will be mandatory for all teachers. Dr. Nishank also launched the Guidance Mobile App. Through this, retired teachers will also be given a chance to guide the institutes as well as the small institutes around them. AICTE Chairman Prof. Anil D. Sahastrabuddhe said that not only will the teachers be trained in this academy, but in the future it will also run the AICTE sub-office. Officers from Kanpur will sit here two days a week.

All the problems of technical and professional institutions of Uttarakhand will be solved by the creation of a sub-office here. On this occasion, Higher Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat, AICTE Vice Chairman Prof. MP Punia, Chairman of Graphic Era Group, Dr. Kamal Ghanshala, and many AICTE officials were present.

What is Atal Academy
The full name of Atal Academy is AICTE Training and Learning. The All India Council for Technical Education helps in the establishment of the Atal Academy. In the first phase, Atal Academy was opened in Vadodara, Jaipur, Guwahati, Trivandrum, Jaipur. It is said that in this academy, emphasis will be given on research on subjects like cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data science, etc.

In the year 2018, the government had planned to open such an academy in the name of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. After better results from the first five academies, the government has now demanded the opening of Atal Academy in ten more cities. According to AICTE Chairman Prof. Sahastrabuddhe, engineering students will be motivated for innovation by connecting qualified technical professors, researchers with the Atal Academy.

Smart India Hackathon will be in Uttarakhand

This time Smart India Hackathon will be organized in Uttarakhand. A plan has been made for this. Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Nishank said that its dates will be announced soon.

Graphic Era will bless scholarship

On the occasion of the recently published 75th book of Union Human Resource Development Minister Dr. Nishank, Graphic Era University announced the blessing scholarship. President of Graphic Era Group, Dr. Kamal Ghanshala said that every year, 75 poor meritorious people will be given this scholarship. On the other hand, the state government has allowed Graphic Era University to open another campus in Kumaon.

He said that the Congress and the Left parties would have to answer that after partition, there were 22 percent Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs and Christians in Pakistan. How did their numbers come down to 3-7 percent in 2011? Said, Congress is confusing the public on CAA. He called upon the workers to liberate the people from this confusion by conducting awareness campaigns.
