Ankita and Aniket won gold medals in National Junior Athletics Championship

In the 35th National Junior Athletics Championships, Ankita Dhyani and Aniket Kala of Uttarakhand won gold medals with a brilliant performance. At the same time, Anisha won the bronze medal.

The state bag won two gold medals on the final day at the championships held in Guntur (Andhra Pradesh). Uttarakhand Athletics Association secretary KJS Kalsi said that the girls under-18 category 1500 m race, Ankita Dhyani won the gold medal taking a time of four minutes 27 seconds. Ankita has trained with coach Maheshi Arya at Dhyani Girls Athletics Hostel Agastyamuni. Presently, she is undergoing training at Sai Academy Bhopal.

At the same time, Aniket Kala scored 17.97 m in the shot under the competition of the under-20 boys’ category. Gained gold by throwing the ball. Aniket Kala is undergoing training with ONGC coach Jagjit Singh. At the same time, Anisha won the bronze medal in the girls’ under-16 category in the two hundred meter race. Anisha is also undergoing training with Maheshi Arya.

Aryan and St. Thomas won the match

Aryan School and St. Thomas College started with a win in the Council School Senior Girls Basketball Tournament. At the same time, Welham Girls School received a walkover. The tournament started at Aryan School, Mussoorie Road.

In the first match, Welham Girls School got a walkover against Shigali Hills International School. In the second match, Aryan School defeated St. Jude’s School, 33-12. For Aryan School, Marina scored 13 and Uditi scored five for St. Jude.

Similarly, in the third match, St. Thomas College defeated Doon Cambridge School 38-6. Tanushree scored 14 points for St Thomas College and Garima scored six points for Doon Cambridge School. Vinod Vachhani, Mayank and Sachin Rawat played the role of referees.
