An MBBS student hung out of depression

In Uttarakhand, a second-year MBBS student of Doon Medical College was found hanged in the hostel room on Saturday night. Police arrived after being informed from the hostel management and took possession of the body and kept it in the mortuary.
Postmortem will be done after his family members arrive. Primary investigation revealed that the student was undergoing depression for more than a year.
Patel Nagar Chowk in-charge Girish Negi told that the deceased has been identified as Dilip Kumar resident of Gurugram Haryana. Dilip was last seen on the hostel premises on Friday. Since then, he has not seen anyone.
On Saturday, his family was calling him, but the call was not responded. Because of this, her mother called the student living in the neighboring room, then he broke the door of the room and saw him hung. Dilip was hung on the fan.
The police reached the spot on their information and took down the dead body. Dilip’s tongue was out. The matter is declared suicide but there was no suicide note found in the room. Girish Negi, the Chowki in charge, told that his phone had 75 missed calls. A medicinal supplement was also found in the room.
The prescription is from Sri Mahant Indresh Hospital, which the doctors told that these medicines are of depression. It was then known that Dilip was in Depression and he had been taking these medicines since 2017. The family has been informed about it later.
