Afghanistan beats Ireland again, first Twenty20 win by five wickets

Afghanistan won a great win over Ireland thanks to an unbroken partnership of 86 runs by Mohammad Nabi (49 *) and Najibullah Jadran (40 *). In the match played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun on Thursday, Afghanistan defeated Ireland by five wickets in the match. All-rounder Mohammad Nabi was adjudged the man of the match for his outstanding performance in this match.

Ireland won the toss and chose to bat first, losing six wickets and making 132 in 20 overs. G Dockrell scored 34 runs for most of the team. Captain P Sterling 23, wicketkeeper-batsman S.Pontor 31, S. Thompson did not touch any batsman, except for 18.
