The gateway of Lord Kedarnath Dham will be opened on May 9. Hemkund Sahib’s gateway will be opened on May 25. The date of opening the gateway of Kedarnath Dham was declared on the holy festival of Mahashivaratri in the Panchkedar Patthar, Omkareshwar Temple on the basis of the calculation of the calendar.
According to the calculations, the gateway will be opened at 5:35 in the morning with special pooja. Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) executive officer NP Jamloki and media in-charge Dr. Harish Goud said that the temple was worshiped in the morning.
Baba Kedar’s Panchamukhi Bhog Murthy was made after making a plea. After this, in the presence of Raval Bhimashankar, the Vedas decided to calculate the date of the opening of the gateway of Kedarnath Dham by calculating the lunar calendar. Baba Kedar’s Bhogmurthy Dham departure day was also fixed.
Meanwhile, religious songs and kirtan-bhajans were organized by the students of Vidyapith including the students of the university. On this occasion, BKTC Chairman Mohan Prasad Thapliyal, CEO BD Singh along with Acharya, and other dignitaries were present.
Hemkund Sahib’s gate will open for the devotees on May 25
The holy shrine of Sikhs, Hemkund Sahib, will be opened on 25th May this year for the devotees. According to Hemkund Trust Managing Service, this time, at Hemkund Sahib, snow has been frozen for 14 feet.
Hemkund Sahib has been covered with a heavy iceberg in many places. Work on the opening of the route will be started from April 25.
