The fifth Dehradun International Film Festival came to an end on Sunday. Famous actor Vishwajit Chatterjee was honored with the Life Time Achievement Award on the occasion. Apart from this, many film directors and actors were honored. Chief guest Assembly Speaker Premchand Agarwal, Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, and comedian Ghana Nand honored the dignitaries.
On this occasion, Assembly Speaker Premchand Aggarwal said that Uttarakhand is the most beautiful place for film production. He invited the filmmakers present to come to Uttarakhand. He said that they will be provided appropriate facilities on behalf of the government. Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama said that such an event will not only give a boost to the film industry in Uttarakhand, but people will also get employment here. During this time, 85 directors of films shown at the festival were also honored by giving mementos. Ravindra Anand, Sonia Anand, Alaknanda Ashok, Kanwaljit Singh, musician Dilip Sen, Dr. Janit Walia, Rajesh Sharma, etc. were present on the occasion.
