42 food poison affected, 3 died

In a marriage function, attendees were affected due to food poison among which 42 are admitted in the hospital and 3 died.

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat along with MLA Arvind Pande and BJP State president Ajay Bhatt, agreed to compensate the affected family as per the need and also the families who lost their members. Two women and a child includes in the three dead. The patients are to be given the best treatment, said the Chief Minister to the doctors of Sushila Tiwari medical college hospital in Haldwani, where they are admitted.

The Chief Minister, local MLA and BJP President have visited and enquired about the patients affected with food poison attending a marriage ceremony in Basti village of Bageshwar district. They have also taken note on the medical facilities ensuring its effectiveness and timely treatment being rendered to the affected patients.
