41 brave military personnel honored for courage and bravery, 16 units also honored

Indian Army’s Golden Key Division honored military personnel

The ornamentation ceremony was organized by the Golden Key Division of the Western Command of the Indian Army. During this period 41 military personnel were honored for their exceptional courage and distinguished service. Apart from this, 16 outstanding military units were also honored.

The event was held at the Golden Key Division at Clementown. The Chief of the Western Command, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Western Command, Lieutenant General RP Singh honored the servicemen.

During this period seven distinguished service medals and 32 army medals were awarded for gallantry and 2 army medals for outstanding service. Additionally, the Best 16 Unit of the Western Command was awarded the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Commendation Card.

Lieutenant General RP Singh said in his address that today is a day of joy and pride. With our country being the largest democracy, it is an example of unity in diversity. The country is on the path of development. But there are also many challenges. We have to pay attention to internal security, natural disaster and the challenge being faced by neighboring countries. Our Indian Army is ready for every challenge.
