24 hours of rain and hailstorm warning in 5 districts

The Meteorological Department has said that rain and hailstorm may occur in the next 24 hours in five districts of Uttarakhand. The Meteorological Department has issued its warning while the other districts are expected to remain cloudy.
According to the bulletin released from the weather station, there may be rain along with Dehradun in Haridwar, Pauri, Nainital and Udhamsingh Nagar. In some areas, it is estimated to experience hailstorm.
Central director Bikram Singh said that there may be light to moderate rains at other places of the state. Chances of being cloudy and temperature fall due to rain during the day has been told. However, the night temperature will remain normal.

All the Dhams have enshrouded ice sheet
After being happy with the sunny sunshine for two days, the snowfall has started again in the elevated areas including Kedarnath, Badrinath and Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham on Wednesday evening. This has caused cold outbreaks in low lying areas. On the other hand, the problems of the people living in the villages in the lagoons of the ice have increased.

Along with Badrinath Dham, Hemkund Sahib, Rudranath, and Nanda Ghungghati, snowfall has occurred in the Niti and Mana valley on Wednesday evening. On the other hand, light snowfall started in Kedarnath Dham in the afternoon. Kedar Dham recorded maximum temperature of 14.8 and minimum minus 10.3 degree Celsius.
