400 applications so far
Small units are being approved offline
The process of opening industries has started across the state amidst stringent restrictions. Industrialists are applying online in large numbers to open their industries. It has been approved to open 180 industrial units amid the lockdown from Monday.
Apart from this, small industrial units are being approved offline in rural areas. After March 20, all industries were closed across the state. There are around 1600 units of pharma and food across the state.
Conditional approval process started
Now the Central Government has given instructions to give permission to the conditional opening of industries. After which the process of giving conditional approval to industries located in industrial and rural areas has also started in Uttarakhand.
So far 400 people have applied online to open the industry in lockdown. Out of these, approval has been given to open 180 industries across the state. While small units are being approved offline.
Affidavit can also be submitted
Additional Director of Industries Sudhir Chandra Nautiyal informed that a large number of industrialists are applying online to open conditional industries. All industries have been asked to follow the rules strictly.
An affidavit can also be submitted for this. Permission has been granted to open 180 industries. Other applications are in process. Online applications are coming from hilly areas to open industries in large numbers.
